Why is Spidey so slow!!!!

To begin the first game of this series seems to be the best one in my opinion. The second one was ok at best but, the one thing that I have I notice in these two games is that the creators have failed to take spidey's speed into affect. They made him sluggish like he is a power hitter and make the fighting in the both games extremely boring!!!!

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 game is another movie licensed to hit the market for the movies release, but the question is, does it exceed the first game?

The answer: In some areas, but it's just a buggy mess.

When you're swinging through the city, it actually DOES feel and looks great since your using both triggers to swing from building to building. And there are unlimited crimes in the game this time compared to the first tie-in game.

The amount of suits are HUGE. Ranging from at least 13-19 costumes(Varying if you have the DLC), and each one had different stats.

However, despite the good, when you progress through the game, the more you see it's ugly side.

During my journey of the game, I've had a good amount of times where I froze, and game-breaking glitches that would have you blocked in and having to restart.

Not only that, but the game also offers the new "Hero or Menace" system and... it's ok for me, but it's a bit broken. You have to swing from side mission TO side mission to keep your good reputation so you won't get chased by a certain Task Force, and all ends up to be a huge chore in the end and won't let you get some of the collectibles, which makes a return from the first game.

Though with fighting and stealth, it HAS improved, greatly from the first one, but that doesn't really fix the problems in the game.

Overall, I can't really say of buying this game now, since I did before, but i'd say either rent this game or buy it when it's price goes down, since it IS a rushed game.

I guess Beenox should to remember that "With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility."

Not bad, not good

Played through the story just to complete it, it wasn't particularly engaging. The changes from the controls in the previous games were disappointing, they should have just left them the way they were. The combat mechanics were improved from the last game, so that's a bit redeeming.

The addition of the "Hero or Menace" system was more of an annoyance than anything else. Basically it requires you to do side missions to keep a good reputation. If your reputation falls too low, you get chased by a Task Force that are a hassle to deal with.

Worth a rent but not much more.
