Very Good

Predictable

Tetris DS was fun, but it was entirely predictable. There were some different game modes, i.e. puzzle mode, classic mode, etc, but it is Tetris... If you're looking for excitement, this is not the game for you. WiFi connection is a nice addition, but you cannot leave a game or pause it :(

I like Tetris and mario both because they both remind me of the old school days. That is sweet that they combine the old school games together i really truly enjoy both games alot. I like the demo i that played at the store i like that it alot. Yup, as gamer i was truly pleased with this game.

Classic Tetris With Shiny Retro Wrapping

I never was a huge fan of Tetris, but the retroactive elements of Tetris DS seem to constitute an entirely different gaming experience. The added modes in Tetris DS offer much more variety to keep you interested for a while (although standard mode is my fave). After you get tired of playing (or getting beat at) standard mode you can try the other modes of play. They create a nice diversion until you're ready face off against the real monster. I did enjoy playing "Touch" and "Mission" quite a bit, although I found some to be overly annoying or generally uninteresting. The variety is incredible and each game has its own various modes of play. Meteos is certainly weak in contrast to the sheer variety Tetris DS has to offer, but some Meteos style unlockables would have been welcome. The most that really changes is my icon in the "Records" section depending on your high score of course. The truly magnificent thing about this game is that there's a little something for everyone, whether you're a Nintendo fan or a puzzler. The concept is brilliant to at least merit a rental.
