Just to get the obvious out of the way first. The "story" is complete trash. I can understand the wanting to add extra depth to the game to appeal to a wider range of people. But it seems that they got lost along the way and not only took away from the fighting but what they added is something that i wish they could just "dis-invent"
You just run around randomly trying to hit people, which sometimes numbers in the dozens, and hope u don't die in the process. The game gets quite cheap towards the end and is extremely aggravating.
The actual fighting part of the game if decent at best. Don't try the online part if you have a choice because it's very laggy amd will make you want to break your controller.
The audio is decent. That is if you don't mind reading subtitles, especially in story mode.
The graphics are probally the best part about this game. The stages a put together well, although (it might just be my tv) when there's alot of background actions taking place it seemed a little pixelated.
Overall, don't expect much from this game but it is worth a rent just to pass the time
If you enjoy fighting games Tekken is a great game. If I had several friends who were all into the fighting games then this would be a fantastic game. The game creates a ranking system which gives you a bit of character development for each character you play with which is cool. The single-player campaign mode is pretty lame. The plot is boring, the fighting is repetitive. I eventually got stuck because there is a lvl where it is almost impossible not to fall of the edge of the platform because you are on a platform for the entire mission.
All in all...Great fighting game...Terrible single-play campaign mode game
