Tekken 5 for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

I rented this game in the hopes that the developers may have upgraded the fighting styles or made better story lines. but the did not. they took teckken 4 and slapped a new label on it. plus at the begining of the game they kill off hahatchi. the graphics are still good and the story lines are still the same. the one thing that is the most downer though, even when you put the game on easy/begginner. its still hard. but i guess if your into the teckken series up to this point you might like it, but i believe its gotten too techinical. like the ultamate fighter series.

shuffle...shuffle...shuff- le. i hated the movement in this game. either i just didnt play it enough to figure out how to freakin RUN...or im just spoiled by great games like soulcalibur.
I was also disappointed by the fact that you dont actually use the analogue stick to move. you have to use the directional buttons which are stiffer and limit movement. why didnt they just make this game for PS one? that's how the controls are. also, the movement is terrible. when you try to move forward or backward, you take little baby steps. as i said...shuffle...shuffle.- ..shuffle. these baby steps also make fighting hard because you cant get to your target very fast. in soulcalibur, when you move, you freakin RUN! also, theres no variety in the fighting moves. since each character doesnt have weapons (like soulcalibur), they are limited to kicks and punches. that SUCKS!
i thought this game would be cool, but i was very dissappointed.
