Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Arcade Attack for Nintendo DS Reviews by Gamers

Based on the 2003 TV series (Krang is sadly absent, despite what Gamefly's synopsis says), this game actually seems to pick up where that show left off after being canceled in 2009, with Shredder still in his "Cyber" form. While it does provide some pretty cool fan service in the form of a narrative laid out in the style of the original Mirage comics, the gameplay itself just isn't that enjoyable; it's a tedious, repetitive button-masher, and not nearly as fun or exciting as the classic TMNT beat-em-ups like "Turtles In Time". Really, only hardcore TMNT fanatics are likely to derive much satisfaction from this game, and even they won't be missing out on much if they decide to skip it altogether.
