Tao Feng: Fist of the Lotus for Xbox Reviews by Gamers

The good :
The limb damage is a unique concept and a very useful tool in a fight. Keep it!!
The battle scars are nicely done.

The bad:
The combat system in Tao Feng is difficult to manage. Even at the lowest level of combat you can barely get hits in on the other characters. The combo chains are a bit difficult to work in. Guarding is almost non-existent.

The ugly :
The training part of the game doesn't appear to be of much use as it only demos moves that you can hardly progress to.

Overall :
A nice concept that fails at gameplay. If it weren't for the textures/graphics and the limb damage system this game would only get a 1 from me.

Ok lets just start by saying that tis game pretty much sucked. The designers made the comercial look appealing by adding a skeleton and showing its bones break. Yes the good part about this game is that you can actually see the damage inflicted on your opponent. The blood and broken bones look good. The graphics in this game are pretty solid. And here is where it gets bad the story is lame the maps are horrible and the game engine and fighting system act like they have down syndrome. The story lacks depth and gets boring quick. The characters are iffy and dont even get me started on the fighting. Lets just say that my little sister can fight better that these guys.

My advice is dont pick this game up because you will put it back down in a minute go get a better fighting game like Tekken, Virtua fighter or Soul caliber. Any fighting game is better than this one.
