Very Good

An interesting game.

First off...the cons: Why do people give this game such great reviews? The graphics are PS2 gen. The storyline is dry and the game play offers nothing

Second off, the pros: It is actually a really good game! I really love the game play. This is because you can set it to automatic and you don't have to do anything when fighting, the game does it by itself. That's so convenient, I can multitask. The storyline is not too bad, I mean it's dry at the very beginning, but it gets really good. As for the graphics, they aren't bad just not PS3 or Xbox 360 quality.

Fight Style

I found that I have no patience for games with fight styles I do not like. To be honest once I got to the fighting and realized I did not like the game style I gave up. Didn't feel like putting in 20 or so hours without liking the way the game was played.

Nostalgia is nice, moving forward is better.

Recently being introduced to RPGs, the decision to try this game was done with apprehension. That reluctance was a sign to leave it in the box.

The main character was contemptible, the graphics had the quality and detail of cartoons of 20 years ago.

This is not a genre which appeals to those who see the beauty in true graphical clarity and detail. This is no Mass Effect.

In the future if a game is attached to this so-called jRPG genre, it will be a pass.
