Really Bad

Not up to par

I've heard alot about this game, I've heard that it was one of the best of the gamecube. But upon playing it for about an hour I became bored, I'm not 100% why. Perhaps it was the rather generic storyline, the uninteresting characters, the bland areas, or the uninteractive battles, (Seriously, you can actually make the game play itself). I found my experience with this game a waste of my time, perhaps it was good a few years ago, but in my opinon, didn't stand the test of time very well.

i can't even beat magnius. game's too old to play now anyway. i'll just wait for zelda

I guess when I ordered this game I wanted something pretty much like final fantasy. The story and the look of the game have that final fantasy feel about it, but the battles are approached very differently. It's a "real time battle mode", and very hard to follow what is going on. It's hard to determine what each character is doing, how much of their magic they're using, who is about to keel over... Mostly I just don't think it's fun. It plays itself pretty much, and on manual it's just too difficult to keep up with. It's so complex, it's not fun.
