Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World for Wii Reviews by Gamers

This game is awesome!I mean just WOW.All I've had trouble with was that I couldnt do more than 2 players...but other than that it was awesome. (By the way the angry face by your monster in the pause menu means its gonna evolve if you feed it.)

I rented this game because it says its 4 player, but its really only a 1 player game, with the option to have up to 3 other people help in fights.... Speaking of fights... Its a step above your average "button mashing", but not by much..... You attack with the A button, and can assign skills to the B button+ joystick. A little confusing, and the pace of the battle seems about a half step faster than it should be, you dont really have time to see the effects of your attack before its time to attack again... Basically, it degenerates to button mashing pretty quickly....

My other complaint is that it gets too hard too fast.... You start out the game at an agonizingly slow pace, spending much to much time just watching the characters talk to each other, then suddenly you get to a point where you have several "fights" in a row, which my daughter and I were unable to get past even after several tries....
