Tales of Legendia for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

The whole point of an RPG is to tell a story that is good enough to convince you it is worth suffering through endless repetitive battles. Tales of Legendia does just that. The plot keeps you interested and makes it hard to turn the game off at times. The voice acting is a little suspect and the main character is kind of a wuss, but for me it was the other characters that carried the story. The battles, except boss fights can be easily won by just pressing the X button repeatedly. Another good aspect of the game is that after you defeat the last boss you are only halfway through the game. The additional content is not just meaningless character development, but adds new things to do such as item synthesis. Unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it the voice acting is not present for the additional content. All things considered this was a very solid RPG and brings out all the RPG elements that we have come to expect from this genre. I give this game a 7.5/10.
