Play as Senel, a tattooed warrior trying to find his kidnapped sister, Shirley. Just before being taken, a wise inhabitant of Legacy determines Shirley is the Shining One - the one who will bring peace to his island home. Investigate the deep and challenging world of Legacy, meet its magic-wielding citizens, and battle the island's many monsters with an innovative side-scrolling combat system. You can throw weapons, sneak around your enemies, or unleash your powerful climax attack on foes for extra damage. And don't worry, because the cooking mini-game is still there, ensuring you'll make plenty of ham sandwiches.

The whole point of an RPG is to tell a story that is good enough to convince you it is worth suffering through endless repetitive battles. Tales of Legendia does just that.
