Fun and imaginative, but very slow start

fun jrpg...very imaginative and magical and all that...but the fighting interface is TERRIBLE...just to get through it I put the fighting on easy, and yet I still get stuck at points...I may suck at it, but on easy? Really? And I don't know if it's my controller or the system or what, but none of the controls seem to work...either that or they're on a huge delay...so I've resorted to simply moving the joystick and pressing X as much as possible, doesn't do much...not much fun to play a game you can't get through with ease despite being on "easy"...boo
