Okay two things that needs to be addressed this game is like watching a anime so if you don't like anime then this game is not for you and second it's a game about becoming strong to protect your loved ones. okay now on to the review well it's a good game actually it's a tales game so you should know that the characters are going to learn something in the end especially the villain which is a great villain Lambda is his name and he has a basic human motivation he wants to live no matter what and I find that interesting since the main villain isn't the one your fighting since the third act of the game but someone you meet in the fourth but back on track you have your main character Asbel who is the typically I want to protect everyone character so you either like or dislike him.
The gameplay is real time so again you like or hate it I do since I feel a actually fight would go like this not waiting turns and stuff but I digress the gameplay is very good and depending on the difficulty (normal- unknown0 you have to think in battle and it's real time so your more pressured to make a decision then a game like final fantasy were you have all day decide your next play of action.
All and all this is a game that is overshadowed by mainstream RPG's like final fantasy sorry I just hate the series so is the whole tales series and this a game you are doing a disservice not playing it

The game is good up until the point where you try to get Chiera's costume when doing magic carta on HARD, with out letting him score a single point. The cards are so hidden that you can't even see the faces of the card. The CPU will also pick the right card when the quote isn't even close to done! Besides that it's a great RPG.
This is a game that any RPG fan will enjoy. However it is not as good at the last Tales game "Tales of Vespiria". I was really hoping for greatness out of this game but it seems to me that they took a step back instead of continuing with the amazing success of Vespiria.
