What happens when a woman who's perfectly comfortable finding Mr. Right Now actually runs into Mr. Right? Christina (Cameron Diaz) is a true escape artist. Able to escape commitment in a single bound, she's managed to spend years without being pinned down to a meaningful relationship. One night out on the town with her girlfriends (Christina Applegate, Selma Blair) she meets The One, otherwise known as Peter (Thomas Jane). But after she finds Peter, she can't find him again. So Christina and her friends set out on a gag-filled roadtrip to track him down. She follows her heart all the way to Peter's brother's wedding in a romantic comedy that's more comedy than romance.
