Cody Maverick (Shia LeBeauf) is a young amateur surfer who's dreaming of success in the world of hanging ten, even though he's still a bit rough around the edges and has some learning to do. He gains the support of the cantankerous but renowned surfing legend Big Z (Jeff Bridges) and is encouraged by his favorite lifeguard gal-pal, Lani (Zooey Deschanel). Now he has the faith he needs to take on the world's biggest waves. A star-studded cast includes James Woods and Jon Heder. They lend their vocal talent to this computer-animated, family-friendly inspirational comedy, which proves anything is possible when you put your heart into it.
