Superman Returns for Xbox Reviews by Gamers

First off, let me start by saying that this is by far the best Superman game ever created. There are no other games in my opinion. I do however think that the XBOX version of this game took quite a hit in the visual department. It feels like the first Spiderman game. Very Bland with no bells and whistles.

I do not write reviews often so I am just going to post what I think are the pros and cons

Pro:
1) Feeling of flying is right on. From the vibration in the controller to breaking the sound barrier...multiple times. Right on.
2) Powers work nicely.
2) Superman doesn't die. How a Superman game should be.
3) City is huge and looks different in each sector.
4) Almost sandbox type feel. Not quite though.
5) Lot's of different characters from the comics.

Con:
1) CAMERA! CAMERA! CAMERA! It is free range while you are on the ground. But, once you are in the air the only shot you get is from behind. Would like to pan around Superman as he is flying.
2) City is not as interactive as advertised. This might be a limitation on the XBOX hardware though.
3) No Atmosphere, bland buildings, low-res people walking around... I think I got spoiled by all the 360 images.
4) Not much to do in the city while just free flying....except to just fly around.
5) Enemies get repetitive.
6) Fight system could use some work.
7) You should be able to invert your flying controls without it effecting your ground controls too!

Overall, great game...WORTH THE WAIT!! Although, if this game does not show you the difference in what a Next-Gen system vs. Cur-Gen system can do....I don't know what will. This is the first game that I have seen that really makes you appreciate the differences in CG. vs. NG.

(Like it seems with everything related to Superman:Returns) I anticipate a great follow-up game to this one. With the bugs worked out and more to do. Think Spiderman 1 the game vs. Spiderman 2 the game.
