Even the most mature gamer will have a hard time here and there trying to progress later in the game. You may even find yourself on a wiki or walkthrough like I did (which I never do, just saying).
Aside from that, all of the content of the game is great. Music, characters, 3d capability, whatever... it's all really polished. The story scripts and texts may be a bit boring to read through, however.

The Good: I never thought I would be a fan of a Paper Mario game (they always looked cheesy to me) but I became easily hooked to this one. It had a cute little story line and a lot of funny puns through the game. I also liked flipping from 2D to 3D. It gave the game a whole new map and dynamic than expected.
The Bad: I went through the game relatively quick. To avoid flying through, limit yourself to a chapter per game play.
I've always enjoyed the Paper Mario titles and this one did not disappoint. Super Paper Mario probably has one of the most in depth story lines I've seen in a Mario game. I liked that you could play as 4 different characters and the many different Pixl friends you could acquire. While the 3D is a cool idea there isn't really a whole lot you can do with it. It is mostly for dodging enemies and finding secret paths but not much else. I also did not care for all the lengthy cut scenes the game went from story to game play without much of a smooth transition. In terms of side quests this game can keep you entertained for hours. In addition to the Pit of 100 Trials there are over 200 character cards you can collect and about 100 different recipes to create. This is definitely worth renting at least once.
