super mario galaxy might be one of the best games i ever played! its so awesome because it has those galaxies, and the way mario can fly through the universe! and another thing thats cool is when you create your file. you can make it your own icon. (choose from mario, yoshi, toad, peach,or one of your miis) the graphis are great! and the creativity is exellent! now THIS would be the best game to buy no lie. I was dying to get that game you should buy it

Anyone that has a Wii or is planning on getting one MUST get this game. It's your civic duty as a Hardcore gamer. This game IS to the Wii what Ratchet and Clank is to the PS3 minus the 1080p of course. It is amazing, Every aspect of the game is pure gold, the camera issues I heard of from other reviewers is simply a matter of taste. I happen to love the new camera angle myself. I hope more people will get the Wii because of this game. It is Wonderful. If I could rate higher I would give it a perfect 100% or 5 out of 5 stars. The bosses are very cool to encounter. This game doesn't make it so hard that you want to chuck the Wii mote. This game looks so pretty on my 1080p HDTV with component cables for my Wii. I do have to say it does look sweet having my Wii up next to my PS3!! Please for the love of who ever you worship Buy this game. Don't even bother renting. It's Game of the Year for the Wii.

I rarely find any game perfect, but Super Mario Galaxy comes so extremely close to perfect that any gripe I may have with it is completely overshadowed by the tremendous amount of love and care that has been put into this game.

Super Mario Galaxy is the proper follow up to Super Mario 64, a landmark game in itself. Players traverse many unique planets and environments to find the coveted stars to save the princess Peach.

Pros

- Amazing level design. Level designs that go beyond the conventions of a platformer and turns it completely upside down, literally. You'll find yourself running and jumping upside down, sideways and every which way possible.
- It's Beautiful. By far, Super Mario Galaxy is Wii's most graphically impressive game. Every environment has its own technical touches. It's bright, colorful and is a total feast for the eyes.
- Cool new power ups. Along with classic favorites like fire Mario, he will be able to don new suits that give him new abilities.
- Fully orchestrated soundtrack. The one thing that caught my attention was the amazing soundtrack within the game. Some music will have you humming throughout the day.
- Wii Controls. The controls work perfectly and aren't shoehorned in or used in gimmicky ways. Everything feels natural and responsive. Controls will be second nature very fast.
- Lengthy. The game contains a total of 120 stars to collect. Although only 60 is needed to complete the game.
- Co-op play. The game is mostly single player, but allows another player to pop in and out to help collect star bits and attack enemies.
- Extremely fun. It's Mario at his best. The game is extremely fun to play through and completely satisfying.

Cons

- Camera can be a hindrance sometimes, but rarely.
- Some areas tend to repeat itself
- Water levels and swimming are still a little tricky
- The fact that the game has to end eventually

If you're a Wii owner and you don't have this game, than you are doing yourself a huge disservice
