Absolutely Stellar!

I rarely find any game perfect, but Super Mario Galaxy comes so extremely close to perfect that any gripe I may have with it is completely overshadowed by the tremendous amount of love and care that has been put into this game.
Super Mario Galaxy is the proper follow up to Super Mario 64, a landmark game in itself. Players traverse many unique planets and environments to find the coveted stars to save the princess Peach.
Pros
- Amazing level design. Level designs that go beyond the conventions of a platformer and turns it completely upside down, literally. You'll find yourself running and jumping upside down, sideways and every which way possible.
- It's Beautiful. By far, Super Mario Galaxy is Wii's most graphically impressive game. Every environment has its own technical touches. It's bright, colorful and is a total feast for the eyes.
- Cool new power ups. Along with classic favorites like fire Mario, he will be able to don new suits that give him new abilities.
- Fully orchestrated soundtrack. The one thing that caught my attention was the amazing soundtrack within the game. Some music will have you humming throughout the day.
- Wii Controls. The controls work perfectly and aren't shoehorned in or used in gimmicky ways. Everything feels natural and responsive. Controls will be second nature very fast.
- Lengthy. The game contains a total of 120 stars to collect. Although only 60 is needed to complete the game.
- Co-op play. The game is mostly single player, but allows another player to pop in and out to help collect star bits and attack enemies.
- Extremely fun. It's Mario at his best. The game is extremely fun to play through and completely satisfying.
Cons
- Camera can be a hindrance sometimes, but rarely.
- Some areas tend to repeat itself
- Water levels and swimming are still a little tricky
- The fact that the game has to end eventually
If you're a Wii owner and you don't have this game, than you are doing yourself a huge disservice
