Super Mario: All Star Nostalgia

This is where it all started 25 years ago for the plumber, Princess Peach, the toads, and Bowser in Super Mario Brothers - and launched Nintendo into superstardom.
Now, 25 years later, we get Super Mario All-Starts (no, it’s not a sports themed game) with four classic games from the 1980’s: Super Mario Brothers, Super Mario Brothers 2, Super Mario Brothers 3 (I know, they didn’t get creative with the titles) and several more levels of Super Mario Brothers that was only available in Japan - until now.
Each game has been faithfully rendered from their original state (which means don’t look for great graphics or sound) and can be played with the Wiimote/Nunchuck or the Classic controller.
And that’s the compilation. For those of us who have great memories of playing these games when we were younger, you will have a great time playing it.
But those who want to look into the future of gaming, then you might want to look elsewhere, this game is rooted in the past and nostalgia is the driving force that’s going to sell it.
That, and a $30 price tag.
Overall, I say Super Mario All-Starts is one game that is a must rent, and those of us who played the original versions of these games should buy it.
