Gold Shiny panels

Get a perfect score in all Worlds and the panels "Shines?" will be gold.

Reusable power-ups

Turn into little Mario and take all the power-ups in the level. Find a bonus level. Go in it, and when you exit, all the power-ups you took will be there again. You can repeat this as many times as needed.

Avoid losing lives

If you fall and are about to die, pause your game. Select "Save and Quit". You can now continue at that level without losing a life.

Dancing Mario

Get to the part where you select the game that you want to play. Highlight "Super Mario Bros 3". Mario should appear. REMEMBER: Sometimes it is Luigi. Then, highlight "Mario Bros". Next, highlight "Super Mario Bros 3". Do this repeatedly quickly and Mario will appear to be dancing.

Magic Whistle Location: World 2

In the second World, find the Hammer item from one of the Hammer Bros. Go to the upper right corner of the map and use the Hammer to break the dunes there. Then, go into the "extra" area of the map. Beat the Fire Bros in there to obtain the final Whistle.

Reaching World 8

After using a Whistle to go to the warp island. While you're still on the island, make use of the second Whistle; it will take you directly to World 8.

Level 3-1 Prize

On level 3-1, ( this should be an underwater level) you are dropped off into the water at the beginning. Once you are dropped down, you will see a gap between the left-hand side of the screen. Go down the gap and you will see a [?] block. Hit the block and you will be rewarded will a prize that is depended on if you are Mario (smallest version of Mario), or SuperMario (the bigger version.)

Easy Toad House

Have an e-Reader and scan the Orange Switch Card to have Fire Mario's Fireballs turn enemies into coins. Go through a Hidden House level (for example, 1-4, 2-2, 4-2). The coins from enemies count as regular coins.

Unlimited items

When you get an item you like in a Toad House, get a game over and try again. The Toad House can be done again. REMEMBER: This trick requires an e-Reader. Scan the Super Leaf card that is included with the game when you have a connection with the e-Reader. You can keep scanning until your inventory is full.

Redo Special Plates

Redo Fortresses, Toad Houses, Spade Spaces, and Guards: Get a perfect score in all Worlds and all Fortresses, Toad Houses, and Spade Spaces will open up again. If you complete a Fortress, get an item at the Toad Houses, complete a game of chance, or defeat a guard, you go through it again.

Hammer Bros Suit

This item changes Mario into Hammer Bros Mario. Mario is given an armored suit, and can throw hammers to attack most enemies. The hammers can damage just about every enemy in the game. Also, when Mario ducks down, he is protected from fire attacks. When hit by an enemy, it changes Mario to Super Mario form.

Starman

Lets Mario become invincible to every attack for several moments. It's excellent for running through heavy enemy-infested areas untouched.

Racoon Mario

The Super Leaf changes Super Mario into Raccoon Mario which lets him fly. If in regular form, it turns Mario into Super Mario only. If hit by an enemy, it changes Mario to Super Mario form.

Tanooki Suit

This item changes Mario into Tanooki Mario which is a variation of Raccoon Mario, but with a body suit that goes with it. If you press/hold Down + A, Mario turns into a statue for a short time, letting enemies to pass him unnoticed. When hit by an enemy, it reverts Mario to Super Mario form. When in hard form, Mario can stomp out Roto- Discs.

Magic Whistle Location: World 1-3

In the first World, go to Level 3. Go near the end of the stage and you will locate a white block. Stand on it and push Down for 5 seconds, until you fall into the background. Now quickly run right behind the black segment and you will reach a hidden Toad's house with this Whistle.

In the first World Fortress, go to the end of the first area with the Dry Bones. Using Raccoon Mario and a running start, then fly high above the wall above the question block. When you are up there in the air, go right as far as you can go, then push Up. You will fall into a room with a box containing the Whistle.

This item lets Mario to crush stones in the World Map which block access to pipes, doors, Mushroom Houses, as well as other things. You can find in the Mushroom Houses or are rewards for beating Hammer Bros.
