Once you get the right movements for the controls, this game is actually pretty fun. It's great for a little friendly competition. Also, the reason most find their player lagging behind is because you have to build them up by playing the game.

The controls were horrible and sometimes confusing over what you were supposed to be doing in order to compete. I tried at least one event in all of the single competitions. The only thing I won was the breast stroke and got a new WR. Diving was a disaster as I couldn't figure out what to do and shot put was the same. It was a lot of effort on my part working up a sweat only to come in dead last all the time. I gave up on it within 30 minutes of playing it and went onto another game. It wasn't very fun at all, too confusing over what to do and kept getting beat by the AI guys. Don't bother renting this game. It's not even worth trying it.
