THis game is absolutely hilarious, and usually has good, moderately-paced action with a good balance of strategizing against superior foes and mindless brain munching. The animations are hilariously gory and the sounds of cops and teenagers screaming are music to my ears.
The downside is that some of the mechanics, like walking speed and vehicles, are poorly designed, and can become frustrating. For instance, Stubbs shambles along pretty slowly. Enemies back up stupidly fast with no penalties to accuracy. So while you are trying to get a snack, they can put out your lights for good with a couple of shotgun shells due to rapid backpedaling. Vehicles are too slippery, sliding around like a greased weasel being chased down butter lane by a zombie horde.
And as fun as this is, it gets old fast. But that's what gamefly is for, rentals. 8 out of 10.
