Graphics is fairly good, music is all the same, and the controls...well, fighting games don't go to well on the psp either way.

The contorls are actually responsive to your commands. They don't go all "let's not respond to your controls" but the psp isn't really designed for fighting games so it kinda sucks.

The menu have 15 icons on it. Some of it was the same just different name. And maybe 1 thing added. Example, survival mode. There's the other thing called 100 kumei(or something like that) which is the same thing except you go to 100.

All in all, it's fairly good. It's just that it takes 10 battles to beat the arcade for one character. Kinda hard and long.

if u love street fighter, then don't even bother renting this. it's a MUST BUY. i didn't rate it a 10 only because i like the old school fighting style and Alpha tweeked some moves slightly. there is room for improvement. but the graphics are awesome. the fighting challenges, like the 100 kumite where u fight 100 characters and see what your record will be are fun. you'll keep trying to beat your old score. the AI is smart, try programming combos to one button you might need it for help. check it out

Best Portable Street Fighter III Action

When I first heard that they were going to release an SF game for the PSP, I was ecstatic! This is an awesome port of SF Alpha III for SF fans. I wasn't disappointed a bit, it's like being able to carry the Arcade machine with you on the road. The only thing that I didn't like was that the screen panned horizontal on the backgrounds, but did not pan vertically, which is one of the cool aspects of SF A III. Otherwise the action is fast and addicting. I Definitely recommend it for SF fans and new comers to the SF series. All the PSP needs now is Marvel vs. Capcom 2!
