Strawberry Shortcake: Strawberryland Games for Nintendo DS Reviews by Gamers

Overall the game is "okay" for little ones, however my 5 year old daughter cannot read yet. There are no voice-overs in this game, all the menus and talking is done by text boxes.

Unless you want to sit with them and go through the menus for them over and over, I suggest you find another game. I was hoping that this game would be like "Playhouse Disney" or PBSkids websites, where the games have audio on mouseovers, and do not require the ability to read. Which of course is needed for the younger crowd.

My daughter is 6 yrs old. And while she couldn't read all of the screens, she was able to tap through and figure out what to do. I had to help her with some of the games, but she figured out most of them. My daughter wants to either rent this one again, or purchase it sometime down the line.
