Who can forget Steel Battalion ? The game made big waves in the gaming world not because of its core concept (a mech simulator), but because of its gargantuan controller, and equally gargantuan price tag. First, SB is under $100 used now. Price is not much an issue. The meat of the game -is- the controller, without it, yes, it would be a sub par vanilla mecha simulator; however, the controller exists, and adds so very much to the games experience.
