Single Player is all you get

So here's the thing, right off the bat. If you're looking to play multiplayer ANYTHING on this title, you need a code. There's no free anything except for the single player. It isn't included with the GameFly rental. You can, of course, purchase one if you're so inclined but you don't even get a trial to figure out if you like it or not. That said, if you're getting this for the multiplayer, be ready to shell out a few bucks.
Single Player is ok - The cutscenes are done in a pretty cool comic book style way which is neat but the story if flat. Combat is fun and so is building structures, but the campaign is super short. I beat it in 4-5 hours. Plus the variety between flight and on ground combat is cool in the HAWKS and provides nice variety. The gun, however, feel a little boring and not as powerful as other 3rd person shooters.
Final Word - Multiplayer? Nope. Single Player? Short. Don't get your hopes up in thinking it's going to be an amazing experience because while the concept is certainly there, there could have been a LOT more done with it. Maybe next time, StarHawk.
