Not being able to save is kind of a problem!

When I first got the game I thought it was great. It was fun, exciting, and overall a joy to play. That is, until I loaded it up for a second time. The first time I got all the way to the middle of the second stage before stopping. I then saved my progress twice, the second time an accident because of button mashing. I then saved a third time just to be sure. When I loaded up my data and got past the loading screen, it started the cut scenes that occur at the beginning of stage two. This confused me as I had already been through this. I skipped the scenes and ended up in the first room of stage two, as if I hadn't done anything yet. I was dumbfounded so I went back to the main menu and loaded my game again. This time I ended up at the start of stage ONE! I went back to the menu again and tried to load up my data but it wasn't there! I don't know if this was just a problem with my disc, but a game where loading your data deletes it is not a game worth playing. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME. You will only be disappointed.
