The game was outstanding but as soon as I got into it the game was over... I beat this game in record time without even trying. I loved the combos, hated the jumping sequences. The combat controls were ok I guess. I'm glad I rented this game becauyse if I bought it I would be one unhappy camper right about now... Well I'm sending this game back so some other unlucky gamer can finish this game in one sitting.... :-(
While I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay of this edition of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, it made the same mistake as its predecessor, it is too short. Although they made the gameplay quite a bit more fluid than the first installment, this game once again has very limited play time. I bought the game yesterday and have finished it, on hard, today...approximately 8 hours of continuous gameplay. The fight sequences versus the "mini-bosses" were, yet again, repetitive and even though the fight sequences with the main bosses were a bit more involved, I believe the game falls well short of being worth the $59.99 to own it. There is little to no replay value. Save your $60 for a game that you can play online or that has replay value such as Mass Effect, COD 4, the up-and-coming Black Ops, etc.
