Fun For Fans

This one takes a some playing to really enjoy. I have jet to play a wii game which has good arm movement to sword movement connection. This games i no exception so it takes bit of practice to actually start getting the movements correct. However once you do it can be really fun. Specially if you play against your friends. Nothing like standing back and throwing rocks at your opponent. Can we say Darth Vader vs Luke in empire strikes back! hee hee.
But its simplicity is what makes it worth playing. Once you are comfortable with the controls, it is fun to just start crazy slashing. If you get really good you can make some good combos.
This game can be very fun at parties. Too bad you can only do two people at once! four would rock.
I am planning on making this a permanent addition to my library.
The story play is not bad either but a bit boring because you are not playing against a real human.
Something that would make it much better: if blocking was more responsive. Going back old school I think one of the greatest things which made mortal Kombat such a success was that you could block very effectively so that the fights could evolved into very skilled matches.
I have jet to master more than two blocks in a raw with this game. May be I just need more practice, but your character can get stock in a corner if the other person starts just trashing on you and you can block!
Other wise really fun. It does help to be a star wars fan!
