Star Wars: Lethal Alliance for Nintendo DS Reviews by Gamers

This game wasn't even worth it. I think it is the worst star wars game that's ever had George Lucas' name attached to it. The controls are so horrible I couldn't stand to go more than one level. Maybe if the controls weren't so bad, it would be a better game, but I just couldn't do it.

This Star Wars shooter (note that, SHOOTER; there is no Jedi or using the Force) is an OK game, but it easily gets frustrating. Combat scenes are terrible; the targeting system sucks, theres not much complexity to them, they can be difficult since you have no where to take cover and can sometimes not even see the enemy, and using your little robot friend as a shield (about the only usefulness of him in battle) is time-constrained. The battle aspects are the main flaws. The game is ok at being a simple aventure game, albeit it is easy to forget that your in the Star Wars universe judging by the environment. The touch screen is put to good use for good minigames. Overall, this is a fair entry to the Star Wars game genre, but some more involved battle scenes and a wider environment, even if it has to be at the expense of the horror of a Teen rated game on the DS, would greatly improve it.
