IGN Review of Star Wars: Battlefront
As soon as Battlefield 1942 hit shelves, gamers have been clamoring for a good Star Wars mod or game based on its play mechanics. It's been a bit of a wait, but that day may finally be here.
Star Wars Battlefront brings the class-based spawn point gameplay made popular in Battlefield to Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC. Aiming to appease Star Wars fans new and old alike, the game features areas, skirmishes and soldiers from both the classic trilogy (episodes IV, V and VI) as well as those seen in episodes I & II.
