this is the best star wars game ever for the ps2 system. star wars fans have been waiting for a game like this and it is finally here. i remember playing it all night and all day 24/7. i wish i had never traded this game in. i give this game a perfect 10 and that's hard coming from me to get a 10 but for this game any day

Ok this game is good because it takes you in the life of either a clone, droid, rebel, or empire soldier, you may also play as Jedi's. There is many levels you can face in and its entertaining. The only bad thing is that it does not fallow the whole Star Wars story. It would be greatly better if you could create your own character and add to him his own style of armor and his skills with weapons.

I like this one much better than the old one for 3 reasons, number one you can be a jeti, number two you can have space battles, number three theres new people!!!

Great, great, game.
BEST. STAR WARS GAME. EVER.
not that that's saying much...

Anyway.
I love this game. It's great. Everything blows up realll nice like.

GOOD.
---
Difficulty has been turned down, Droidekas can actually die, the firing's better, the aiming's better, control of aircraft is better, control of vehicles is better, SPACE!, and alot more modes and levels :-)

BAD
---
There's only a fewwww problems.
Since it's PS2, there's really no added content like Xbox Live has. But then again, I don't have online play, so I dunno.
There's only one Assault Level [sigh]
Assault is the best mode! And there's only one level!
THEY TOOK AWAY THE GOOD LEVELS.
I don't know of anyone who likes Dagobah, Felucia, or Kashyyyk. LEAVE THOSE OUT IN THE NEXT GAME!
No "random". Nyeh.
And, the computer doesn't use a Jedi.
Which means you can easily run over them even in Elite Difficulty.

Pretty much, it's a great game.
Buy it.
I'm done. So go buy it, already.

This is my favorite game so far and has been since it came out. It adds so many new features and planets. My favorite part is the huge upgrade done to the conrol the galaxy mode that lets you choose were to go on a ship. New characters and the ability to be a hero is amazing. The space battles are fun and sometimes even surprising.

Maps,guns,ships,jedis,all you can expect from starwars....and now that they added the abillity to play as one of the jedis or the villins it makes this game perfect. online play is simaler to halo only with a differtent layout and point on play. if you like being able to slash through a band of droids blasting through space or hunting ewoks....youll love this game

Star Wars Battlefront 2 is one of the great star wars games. Go into battle against the Republic, CIS , Rebels or the Empire. This game is well great. There are fun filled missions to play in rise of the empire mode. There is also a better galactic conquest mode in Star Battlefront 2.

The Game Star Wars BattleFront 2 Is better than the first because you Can fight in space and you can fight as a jedi knight or a sith.
If you are the rebel and you are in naboo and you have to destroy there bunker go along the edge using the little vehicle that you drive on.
If you go along the edge than you have more of a chance of not getting caught and dieing.
But in the new one it challenges you makes people go and protect those areas to so its harder for you to beat that mission and go on.

I Had an easy time getting through the first game but I am not even close to beating the 2 one!

This game rocks! The new features are awesome!!! I really like Anakin and Luke in the heroes thing. I also like the awards and unlockable weapons. Just imagine the Star Wars characters playing this game. This game is the best(until Star Wars Battlefront 3).

This game is tight but there is only one thing that could go for an improving.....which is the force lightning. It looks really cheesey! And the sound effects COME ON!!! Can it sound anymore cheesier!?!?!? well i think it was a good game..WAIT..change that its was the almost perfect Star Wars game. :)

This game is pretty fun its not a 10 but its fun but some times you will have to be careful recommend this game to people who likes war games and of course STARWARS!And if you do play this game I hope you will enjoy this game. Its a little bit easier than the first one i think but its FUN.

Star wars battle front 2 is a great game with good graphics and great game play and easy controls. It was way better then the first one because you get new planets, characters, weapons, and you get to play as a jedi to! You also get great multiplayer features to like hunt mode or a mode were you can play as any jedi or sith you want! It also has clips of the movie and more, but over all the game is great and i recommend this game to any shooter or star wars fan! The game was great!

battlefront 2 and socom are the only games i play online 1 is the future the other is present day.

so it gets me through the day.

this game is very good. and i love playing hero....... yoda is the best........

this is a great game all the sides are vary balenced and fun to play, the jedis were great to play as, and all the differant charicter typs were fun to play as. the only problem is that the story is to short

Better than the first one, and the first one was dang good! The increase of battle fields and now the space battles make this one a winner! Deffinatly buy this game. I could play it over and over (and have) and not worry about it becoming boring and old. Hopefully they continue the improvements and spit out a Battlefront 3 soon!

This game was very awsome! You can play as your favorite heroes such as: Luke Skywalker,Obi wan Kenobi, Han solo and others. Or your favorite villians like: Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, General Grievous, Jango Fett etc. You re-enact famous battles such as: The battle of Hoth, The Death Star and many more. And online play is fantastic! If you are a Star Wars fan like me then pick up or rent this game on GameFly and enjoy it.

this game is awsome, good graphics, great game play, but the thing is, is that your men can never protect a camand post, you capture one, u leave it for 15 seconds to get another one and then theres already and enemy starting to take it, thats what makes me mad, but any ways, its and awsome game, its fun when you win but u get mad when u lose cuz you tried so hard to win, i like that, its fun, buy yea, this is definitly a buy game, dont waste time waiting for it in the mail, just buy the game and lose 50 buck, trust me im a true gamer, it'll be worth it.

This was a relly cool game. This time you can evan be a jedi rather than not evan being able to kill one. You get more vehicles and fight in space. Bonus: If you go to the Mos Esiley battle ground and select hero battle it will be all Jedi. This is the only place that you can have a all Jedi battle.

Get this game!!! Yea !!!

Starwars battlefront2 has to be the best star wars game ever.In this new insallment of the best selling starwars game in 2004 lets you play as a jedi and other new things.when you play as a jedi you have a time limit which is a lightsaber. to keep it from going out you have to keep eliminating enemies.The other new thing is this game is that you get to battle in space.You can battle in replubic star fighters and use bomb fighters to take out enemy fleets.you can even land your starfighter in their in their ship in cause chaos.The graphics in this game could of been better.I really prefer you rent this game and have a fun star wars experince.

Star Wars Battlefront was a great game when it came out, and Battlefront 2 is no diffirent. With the addition of fun space combat and super cool playable jedi, Battlront 2 ascends the first in the fun factor.

Graphics are ok, not Omg teh grafix r amazing!!!1 But they're good enough.

The game sounds great with everything sounding as it should in the Star Wars universe.

All in all, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is well worth renting or eve buying for that matter.

This game was awesome you get to play on the dark side for once and execute order 66 with anakin and the clones. Then you even move later in the game and become darth vaders' personal army called the 501st. Much more fun than playing on the good side!!!!!!!!!

star wars battlefront was a smash hit on the PS2, well now its back and in badass form once again you take up the role of one of four armies in the star wars movies you can play as a clone, a stormtrooper, a reble, or a battle droid this game has all fun of ruthlessly killing everything and not feeling bad about it that you enjoyed so much in the last game but now you have a story mode where you take the role of a clone in the 501st then you move on to being a battle hardened stormtrooper under the command of Darth Vader you will fight on some of your favorite planets from the last game plus some new landscapes like falucia dagobah and courosant this game has amazing visuals and your oponents are VERY deadly sieriously, unless your a vetteran from the last game, your gonna get your butt handed to you on a silver plater for the first two hours of the game. you also get to fight as a jedi or a sith lord or a bountuy hunter depending wich part of the timeline your in galctic conquest is back but you already know all about that unless you didnt play the l;ast game if that tradgy is you, you missed one of the best shooters ever to grace the PS2

i have not bought this game YET but i will soon. this game is the best star wars game i have ever played if your not blasting enemies your jumping behind walls for cover there's constant action in this game and you cant get bored its great mutiplayer being able to be on the same team or fight each other. its also fun to get into the same veichle as each other. there are 4 teams you can be the clones,cis,rebels, and the empire each with its own units and veichles (not that you cant always steal enemy veichles hehehe) well this game is great way to waste time and is defiantly worth buying
