I'm a big Star Trek Fan, I love it, but I think this game is terrible. The charecter anamiation all looks the same, and the gameplay is very bad. The starships look great in the cutscenes, and there nothing like buzzing around the Enterprise, but... even for me, it's not enough to make me recommend this game. Star Trek Games have gotten progressivly worse... Amarda and Bridge Commander (PC) are both worth playing but others like Generations, Hidden Evil and this one is just plain bad. Save your time.

Wow, talk about crazy, this game was definitly not what i was hoping 4. Even on Easy setting it is still hard to pass a level on the first try. The Excellser (the ship you have to constantly protect or you fail the mission) it's sheilds go down fast as all gettup, plus you have to be in 2 places at the same time, trying to protect your main capital ship, plus attack the other enemy capitals and those enemy fighters all at same time. Graphics are ok, storyline could be better, more time battling would be nice, and getting to fly the capital ships would be fun but you don't get too. It has 1st/3rd person veiws so thats good, you only get 5 different Fighter ships( but there is 3 types of each, which mainly just changes weapons and hull/sheild strength). Even with the best Fighter a few good volleys fron enemy capital ship and your a goner. I rented hoping it be like some of the P.C Star Trek games( yup i am a Trekkie) but it isn't. this is an okish game and i give it a 4. One other problem( well something i personally don't like) is you can't skip threw the cineamatic parts.
