Looks good on paper.

The concept makes sense, take the major races from Star Trek and have them duke it out in a war to control the galaxy. In practice, you may only operate three fleets at once, there are three different types of ships you may use (scout, cruiser, dreadnought) but they are all the same for the different factions. Though there are differences between each side, is really just a race of who can construct fleets of dreadnoughts first and then fight straight to the enemy home world. There is only one place to deploy your fleets from, the home world. Though you can construct ships wherever you have put a star base, fleet commanders can only be deployed from the home world, and in the event that a swarm of dreadnoughts blasts through your defenses and takes your planet, chances of taking it back are slim. There are some redeeming qualities, like the ability to bring your fleet into formation and order the famous "Power to shields" or "Power to weapons" commands, battle quickly becomes repetitive. Before each battle, a quick summary of the system (and it's importance in the Star Trek universe) is given, and will please fans. Major locations such as Deep Space Nine are available con conquering, though you cannot use it's wormhole to move your fleet anywhere.
In short, Star Trek fans may be pleased, for the small bits of knowledge and for the ability to take control of trademark ships. Everyone else will most likely be disappointed. 3/10
