I am not going to tell much about this game there is not much to tell. This game is so boring the graphics and gameplay ugly plus this game is short what else hate about this game is that you need 4 player offline so like you need 4 controllers to play this game you can play this by your self but it's not fun by yourself. This game do not have online coop it only have offline coop. If you get this game rent this game if your friends and family want to play this game dont get this game just for you to play. Overall is not worth rental and not worth buying.

This game is a smash and Grab redundant time killer. All the characters are the same on every level. Along with all the Boss fights that are also exactly the same. If you are a trophy collector you can grab a few easy trophies in the game but other than that I would def. not buy. Rent it for sure if your a fan of SBSP . You will enjoy the Characters and story.
Fun me all you like. I still like Spongebob at my age. And hearing that a SB game was coming to the PS3 for the first time; I just knew I had to play it. But sadly, it was not as good as I hoped.
Pros: The level design and gameplay is pretty good. Even with my level of gaming, I had a time with the last area. I was soloing the game so that could been why I had a tough time at first before getting use to the wave of bad bot that pop.
Also the music is nice on the ears. Feels like I was on an island far away. And playing as Patrick and Mr. Karbs was fun and funny.
The characters design is a plus as well. To bad there was only 2 cutscenes the show them up close.
Cons: The story was poor. It was like an episode of SBSP, but lacking any depth. There was a time where I was thinking a cutscene would show after finshing 3 levels; only to face... 'gasp' more levels. It was boring and short; around 3 hr.
The few scenes they are is mostly before and after a boss fight. And there only 4 of them. Yeah 4! And one you fight twice.
The camera in-game is fixed. So you can't use the right stick to move it. It's a problem if you jumping at a certain angle or you have to run back to upgrade your gizmo.
The devices the characters use are a nice idea, but most of the time I was only using 2-3 of them.
Rent, Buy, or Avoid: I say this... if you getting this for the kids, a friend or for yourself; a good nights rent would do you fine here. As much as I like SBSP and I like supporting the show whenever I can. I don't think you should buy this game.
