SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab for GameCube Reviews by Gamers

You know...um..what happens? See I never played long. I played it in a total of 3 minutes! But what I did play was alright for 3 minutes. I went through a few levels but they wern't like the levels Battle For Bikini Bottom! Enjoy a game I can't remember!

This game definitely does not have the quality of the other SpongeBob-related titles out there. Unlike in his previous outings, the game does not seem to exploit any sign of fun. I found myself waiting for a decently fun level and wound up having to wait through nearly half of the game! Many of the early levels had me doing the same thing over and over in very bland environments that seemed to repeat over and over per theme. Basically, the game can get really repetitive. On a short list of positives, the humor is still intact. The music is uninspiring though and phrases are often repeated.
Not all of the gameplay stinks though. I do dig the 2.5-D side scrolling levels that have Plankton running from a giant burger. I just wished every part of the game was as interesting as those levels.
