Spider-Man: Web of Shadows for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

Being the prequel to the 2 very good games shattered demensions and edge of time,this game surpases both of them by a long shot.The first thing i noticed is that its made partially by Treyarch wich was a huge promise for me because they made the other 3 spider games before this one and were better then those awful Toby Mcguire movies.The one element of this game that Beenox misses in shattered and edge of time is being able to swing aimlessly around New York City.the fight set is super cool and upgradeable for both red and black suits.Being able to summin heroes or villans when your in a jam is very helpful.the swicthing of the suits is super coll.Not only are the fighting set different but if you look carefully the way they swing is a little tweaked wich adds a super nice touch.One guy said that there was no real "invasion"of new york,well earth to gamer the invasion is turning all the people(and heros and villans)into symbeotos!!!!!!!!DUH!.overall the story and graphics are amazing and the gameplay is tremendous.Get it and go crazy smacking everyone around!airbender14 >:)

I know this game got mixed reviews, but I genuinely loved this game. Honestly, you have the option to not progress in the game, and just swing around New York as Spider-man, in either regular or venom costumes.
I guess, if you like free roam, Great! If you like a sort of apocalyptic super hero games, Great! But sure, I thought we were past webs connecting to the air, but you don't notice it too much, so don't let that ruin the whole thing.
(Oh yeah, it has a cool story line)
