Yeah I agree with some of the other reviewers that this isn't quite as good as Spider-man 2 but they had to start somewhere right... Well the negatives are #1. the weird web slinging (I mean where do those webs attach to anyway???)#2. The overactive camera which gets annoying. #3. The storyline could have been longer. (I'm suprised no one else said this?) #4. The limiting environment. (when you've played Spider-man 2 or 3 this game just doesn't add up; the total free roam environment is pretty hard to beat, that's about all that was good about spider-man 3 but that's another review) The good things are #1. Good graphics (the characters look very real and are believable) #2. Good storyline (although it is short, it is entertaining) #3. Plenty of chances to use spidey's attack moves (and he has quite a few to choose from so I guess I'll combine these two into one) #4. Plenty of unlockables which gives this game great replay value (you can be a plethora of different characters like Mary Jane, Shocker, and a matrix looking spidey which is pretty cool) #5. This is probably the best feature...... You can play as the green Goblin with his own special moves!!!! You can't do THAT in Spider-man two or three (well I think U might be able to in SM 3 but only 4 the PS3 SE version) He is portrayed as Harry Osborn who is on a mission to find out about his missing father. Now the levels are the same with all the same villans but this still gives the player plenty of replay value (it would've been better if the goblin would've had a unique storyline all his own but hey I'm not complaining) At least he has his own move list which is pretty cool. All the other characters u can play as all have the exact same moves as spidey. #6. The bowling is a fun break from the action as well when it is unlocked. If this game had a free roam environment it would've definitely got a 10 but it's still a really good, and challenging game that I would recommend any spidey fan play at least once. A+++++
