Best spder man game ever

If you are a die hard spider man fan like I am this game does spidey justice. They did a great job with spider man 2099 who was the whole reason I wanted to play this game. His slow motion ability and the just insane action sequences when your diving downward to take out enemy are sick. I had never heard of spider man noir before this game but he turned out to be a blast to play. It's like a metal gear meets spider man I liked it alot. The noir version of the vulture was very cool making him almost like a flesh eating vampire. The amazing spider man and ultimate spider man are what you would expect from previous spider man games good brawlers with alot of cool combos. My only complaint on this game is that it is only about 10 hours long at max and with no multiplayer there is realy is not much replay value. This is a great rental and should not be missed by any spider man fan if your not a spider man fan this game may not be for you.

Love the concept, but the game gets to repetitive.

A very linear game compared to past Spiderman titles, but entertaining in that it brings 4 different versions of Spiderman together. You play levels as modern Spiderman, Noir Spiderman, black suit Spiderman, and Spiderman 2099. Your goal is to find fragments of an ancient stone tablet and stop Mysterio. Along the way you encounter classic bad guys such as Vulture, Sandman, Hobgoblin, and Electro. The cell shaded graphics are nice and the environments look good. However, where this title really lacks is in the overall gameplay. The combat is fluid and the web slinging is smooth, but it's the same in every level. Swing here, dispatch a few bad guys, defeat the boss. During your play-thru you can unlock challenges and upgrade your combat abilities. Only worth a replay if you must get all the achievements. Other than that, you can finish this game on hard over the weekend.
