At first I had my doubts about this game being pretty boring, but I was wrong. I thought the graphics were cool and the the game play was pretty cool as well. I do admit the game play did seem a little repettitve especially at the end. I liked how each spiderman had their way of combat you could be creative in how you took down an enemy. It was a fun game.
This game was awesome. The game consists of Spider-Man stopping Mysterio from stealing the Tablet of Demensions. It gets shattered in the process. Nice job Spidey. The reality of Demensions start to - can you guess? - shatter. No way! Madam Web then recruits Spider-Man and four other versions of him to recruit that sixteen pieces. Unfortunatly, almost all of the tablets are in possesion of the peices and have gained incredible power to do it. See original villians as well as villians with versions for the past and the future. Ditch the old sandbox version games of Spider-Man and instead go to multiple places of the different demensions. Plus, they've all gotten a new and improved spider sense, which allows them to see enemies through walls (think Batman's detective vision in Arkham Asylum).
The first is Amazing Spider-Man, aka the original. He hasn't changed much. He still has webbing, although he hardly uses it to swing around as much as he used to. Then, there's the Noir Spider-Man. He's the Spider-Man of the early 1900's, when the mafia existed. He consists of mainly a Splinter Cell type of stealth, sticking to the shadows and performing silent takedowns. Then there's the 2099 Spider-Man, set in of course the future. He constantly dives downward from buildings, which are really fun gameplay. He also has Accelerated Vision, which allows him to slow down his environment. Lastly, there's the Ultimate Spider-Man. He's the same as Amazing Spider-Man, except for his symbiotic black suit. He doesn't rely on webbing, just symbiotic tendrils that wip you. Plus, he has a rage mode, causing his more powerful attacks to come out. They all work together to bring the tablet together while Mysterio has his own peice and is getting more powerful by the second.
This is truly a great game and was very fun. Getting up close and personal (you'll know what I mean when you play it) with the supervillians is fun. Spider-Man has been put right back on top of the hero games.
