Just when things seem to be finally looking up for Spider-Man and his alter-ego Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire), a pair of new villains show up to wreak havoc (with help from an old nemesis) in this third blockbuster installment of Spider-Man. It all begins when a mysterious black substance from outer space bonds with Peter. Slowly, Parker takes on a new persona, getting cocky in street clothes and vicious as Spidey. As the blackness takes over, Spiderman finds himself up against his greatest enemy yet...himself. Meanwhile, Peter learns his Uncle Ben's killer may still be alive, Harry Osborne (James Franco) intensifies his desire to avenge his father's death, and M.J.'s (Kirsten Dunst) star rises and falls on Broadway. It's all in a days work for your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
