I was disappointed with this game, i was expecting fun web slinging action in a modest sidescroller. But, it lacks alot. A couple of levels into the game you get to a museum one, that level can get so confusing and frustrating you might just want to throw your DS out the window. I mean its just so easy to get lost in the levels of this game, I liked how they tried to branch out from the average platformer and try to put non-linear game play into it but, it just makes it worse. One good thing is as you go through levels you get more skills to use giving it a more RPG type feel. Overall if your a huge fan of spider-man rent this game but if you are you probably already have so i don't really recommend this title so go try the new Super Mario game out for the DS its better.
I am insanely disappointed to see the below 5.0 average score for this game. As a fan of spidey since birth (im 23 now) I can assure you this is a decent spider-man platforming game. The touch controls are nice, and overall this is an excellent platformer. It falls short in the length department, however it ranks high in the fun one. Overall of all DS spidey titles, id pick ultimate spider-man over this, but still - this is an excellent marvel super hero platforming game.
