Game Description
In the mysterious world of ancient Egypt the evil god Set is trying to enslave humanity. It is up to you, the demigod hero Sphinx, with your power to shape-shift into a winged lion, to stop Set before it is too late! Aided by your trusted friend, the Cursed Mummy, you will embark on a dangerous journey deep in the sands and tombs of Egypt. You will use Sphinx's strength and heroism and the Mummy's stealth to destroy, trick and outsmart Set. Explore fantastical worlds and fight and meet amazing creatures and characters, all based on mythology and ancient Egyptian culture.

Sphinx is a solid platformer for the Gamecube with crisp, colorful graphics and simple, engaging gameplay. Be warned, however: there is a major bug about halfway through the game.
