I honestly expected more of this game the story was lame, and for the first time in a long time I was lost through the whole campaign none of it made sense..

Excellent

A decent shooter

As a guy that enjoys the yearly COD games, I figured I'd give this game a chance since it looked decent and because the main character is voiced by Nolan North, the same guy that voices one of my favorite game characters, Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series.

The game is decent and has a nice story. That is more than I can say for COD's lack of a story or at least one that makes any sense when I'm not high. Hey, just being honest.

The only downfalls to the game are that it's third person; which isn't bad, it just takes a while to get used to it since I'm so used to first person. AI isn't bad for a lot of things but sometimes you have to command them several times before they do what you request.

The positive things besides the story and Nolan North...Haha...are that you can make choices on how things will play out. Think Black Ops 2, only with better dialogue and the ability to kill someone in just one knife blow, not fifty. Plus, the enviroments are pretty destructable. Some more than others, but still.

The graphics are nice but not quite as good as the game Battlefield 3, but these days there aren't too many games that can match the Frostbite 2 engine. As an animator myself, I do like the smooth motion and stability of the characters and things look great.

I bought this game after renting it because it is definitely worth trying out and even replaying, just to see how the ending varies with each choice made.

Interesting

I found the game to be interesting. Im a lover of shooter and war games. However, this one had flaws in it. For one i feel it had too many missions. It actually started to get boring in the last several missions. Dream sequences werent necessary. When i play i like to keep firing and firing. However, like many games in this segment it lacked guns and ammo. I often found myself running out of ammo and had to use melee attacks to strip weapons from opponents. Its a fun thing to do but not when there is 15 opponents coming at you. The skill levels were also uneven. I normally play in the regular mode. Not too hard not too easy, i found certain scenes in this game even in the easy mode was hard and definitly ridiculous. I come from the old school of gaming where you dont have and dont use cheat codes to beat the games. When your main characters falls off the roof and lands on the street and you need to grab a weapon. You are by yourself with nothing but a desert eagle pistol and 10 opponents coming at you from all angles. This is the scene I finally allowed the game to put me in the easy level. No matter what I tried i was killed. Overall an 8. Better than I expected but not quite as good as it could have been. All in all, I would say its equal to the Call of Duty and Medal of Honor games. I will play future installments.
