The the story line sucks and there is no point to the game just kill American troops ( that have gone rouge) still that's c#$. The line is want you would do in war and what lines you would cross but the poor graphics and and never ending waves of the same NPC's gets old after the first 2min. Nothing new here run gun lame game. Glad I just rented it don't know what I would do with out game fly. I would just pass on this game. Has some easy acheviments if you want to waste you 8hrs of your live to get them.
Overall Spec Ops The Line is a blast to play. The story is both interesting and intense and the shooting mechanics are smooth. The campaign story keeps you hooked until the end and is a mature psychological ride. That being said, the game does have its fair share of problems. The graphics are mediocre at best coming from a studio that brought us the Bioshock series. Also, the cover system lacks the smoothness and polish of Gears or Ghost Recon. It is actually pretty terrible and gets annoying. Once you get used to the cover system, the game is both fun and rewarding to play however.
For the multiplayer, it has a deep leveling up system and both perks and classes make things interesting. The guns strengths feel great and the game modes are pretty fun. That being said, the game multiplayer suffers from being 4 on 4. If they had a few modes 6 vs 6 the action would be a lot more consistent. Also, their are only 6 maps so they get old fast.
Overall great game but has a fair share of problems. I gave a score of 8/10 because once you get past some of the frustrations the game is really a lot of fun.
