It was gritty and raw. The story was amazing and the characters had real depth so you really felt bad for what was happening to them. The gameplay was solid. The controls were really smooth. I just wish it had been a little longer. I recommend this game for anybody who is a fan of shooters and a good story.
This game is... unique. I will not divulge to much in the way of spoilers, but the game involves three "Delta" operatives attempting to find out the events following several devastating sandstorms in Dubai. The graphics are not half bad (not that it should even be a primary concern), and the gameplay reflects many common elements of Third-Person Shooters that one would be comfortable with. The story is good but... I won't spoil it but if you have kids, for their sake, DO NOT LET THEM PLAY THIS. At certain points in this game, there are images you cannot get out of your head. If this wasn't a game, I would need psychiatric help.
Multiplayer is not bad, featuring 4-on-4 PvP with many typical shooter modes. An addition is the sandstorm element, in which one literally bathes the area in a cloud of sand and dust, inside of which you cannot sprint or aim accurately. It happens periodically and at random, and visibility is dangerously low inside the storm, so cover inside buildings and sheltered areas is recommended. Kill-based matches end at 40 kills (low for most shooters, and matches end fairly quick depending on player skill).
The game is not bad, and it's at least worth a rent in my book. But be advised that there are many disturbing images in the storyline of the game, and as I said before, it is a VERY bad idea to let younger children play this.
