The Soul Burns Brighter

This is the Best Soul Calibur since the second rendition. The game looks beautiful, the controls are as tight as ever, the creation is closer to what it was in three and the guest character actually fits into the timeline, unlike Vader, the Apprentice and Yoda. It still has some flaws, like no Taki and a limited story mode, with no stories for other characters then Sophitia's children, and the changing of the voices for returning characters; and the removal of parrying from the game, something that has been in since Soul Calibur original. However these are small complaints against an otherwise great game, and I look forward to any DLC that may come in the future.
