But every now and then I like to check them out in hopes that one will change my mind. Here recently, only Mortal Kombat has been able to convince me. I have played the last three Soul Calibers and to me they all seem relatively the same. Not really much to do here if you're a solo gamer. I should have passed on this one.
Hi I have been playing Soul Calibur for years. The last Soul Calibur that was amazing & memorable, was Soul Calibur 3. SC4 was ok but close to great. As for SC5, their are missing fighters in this game. Which is the Star Wars fighters "Darth Vadar,Apprentice, & Yoda". What happen to Cassandra? She was my best player! Yes is very cool to have Ezio & new fighters but that's not enough. I think their would be old fighters that will be out for DLC.
I love creating new fighters but I wish that SC5 have a shopping store to buy all the amors, weapons, & upgrades. This game was rush & game developers where careless who only cared about is money. Sad.
I don't know if there is a hidden mode where you can play through individual character storylines. If there is then I did not see it. That depth is what I feel is missing. That is what immerses you in the Soul Calibur universe. Without that, it's just another pretty looking fighter. This time around Soul Calibur had lost some soul and was not worth my money.
