Although the story mode is far from amazing the battle system is more challenging and takes more than just taping a button over and over until they lose their health or fall off the sides of the ring, the system is more advanced and one move does not take out almost have your health gauge it takes numerous attacks to deplete an enemies health which makes the battle much longer, the character creation is way more advanced and there are way more ways of customization including weapons now that you are able to customize them in anyway that you want like the color of the weapon itself, the design, and the color when you slash. Another positive thing is you do not have to waste so much time on story mode because you start with a large number of characters and for the bonus characters you can either do story mode or if your not that kind of person you can do multiplayer and raise your character level and you will automatically unlock them, the only thing that people may find terrible about the game is the story but besides that it has advanced from all the previous games

I love it! better then the fourth one. character cutomization is confusing but in this one its just for looks no armor actually gives you an advantage wich I like cause then I actually get a challenge when fighting family, so dont be surprised if you've played the fourth one.

story mode lacks content but the fourth one had no content what so ever.

I would say buy if your a fan of this kinda fighting.
