Well sonic has not had the best luck in past few years, but now Sonic team has woken up to realize that the can still make a good Sonic game! Now this game is far from perfect, the music makes you wana blow your ears off, and the levels you go through about 10 to 15 times depending on how you beat the levels causing for lack of originality. Also the story is quiet kiddy, and done like a book. On the god side the graphics are good, and the use of the wii remote unique. Either way you go rent or buy its a win!!!

First of all, this is the 1st sonic game I've played since the genesis days, and overall game play and graphics wise, the game stood out. The game works well with the wii remote, the only thing I dislike about the wii remote is to make sonic run faster you have to roll the remote away from you, but roll it too much and sonic will start running backwards on you. Another thing that bugged me was the story, the actual story is well written besides the horrible acting. But the way the game plays out the story, if you want to skip the story and just play the game, you can't, and some of these story cut scenes are over 5 mins long so you are trapped in a slow moving on story at the beginning where most gamers will want to sleep. Anyways, after doing about 8 training missions to get used to the controls the story beings and you are thrown into the desert. I liked this level because it was very fast paced. So my first next-gen sonic game went well, but a lot of things could have been seriously worked on. its worth a rent especially if you are a fan of the sonic series. I give it a 7.2/10
